HALLOWEEN 2018

TAKING IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

Our homage to”Return of the Living Dead” was a hit. It felt good. So, 2018 was all about building on that success and driving interest down those same avenues. Light play, bigger / better props, and new fog really made the difference

THE HAUNT

The toxic drums from 2017 were cool, but we wondered what we could do to amplify what we had. My wife Stephanie found some amazing white plastic barrels. When lit from inside, they glowed in a very radioactive way. Awesome stuff. We also added more skeletons and tried to pay off the hazard theme by introducing HAZMAT suits. We also brought fog into the mix. Drama!

OUR DOG GETS IN ON THE FUN

Vesper, our beloved Boston Terrier (now departed), was the target of our costume bug in 2018. She embodied the character of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, as played by the inimitable Tim Curry in the CLASSIC “Rocky Horror Picture Show” in surgical dress. My wife found and ordered the supplies and my daughter and I dressed her and shot these pics of Vesper. They remain some of my favorite pics of her.

My fave comment Vesper’s costume received was on Facebook. A user simply said, “I didn’t make him for YOU!”

FLAWLESS!
